VSP (Very Simple PIN)

is a lightweight account-protection plugin. Instead of passwords, players secure their accounts with a 4-digit PIN entered via a chest GUI numpad that opens automatically on join.

Features

PIN GUI - chest-based numpad opens automatically on join
First-time setup - new players set their PIN on first join
Fully locked until authenticated - frozen, blinded, and protected from damage
Attempt limit - players are kicked after 3 wrong attempts
Timeout - players are kicked if they take too long to authenticate
SHA-256 hashed PINs - PINs are never stored in plain text
Admin reset command - reset any player's PIN from console or in-game

Usage

On joining, a PIN numpad GUI opens automatically. All interaction with the server is blocked until you are logged in.

First join: choose any 4-digit PIN using the numpad and confirm it.

Subsequent joins: enter your existing PIN.

How to use the numpad

Click on a head with number to enter a digit
Click the red ⌫ Delete button to remove the last digit
Click the green ✔ Confirm button to submit

Admin command

/vspadmin reset <player> - clears a player's PIN, forcing them to set a new one. Requires operator status (op).

Installation

Download the latest .jar from the Files tab above.
Place it in your server's plugins folder.
Restart your server.
