VkSpearSmp is a progression-based spear combat plugin that rewards PvP kills with automatic spear upgrades, enchantments, and powerful speed-scaled damage.
VkSpearSmp is a fully featured PvP progression plugin built around Minecraft’s modern spear combat system, designed specifically for Paper servers running 1.21.11 and newer. The plugin replaces traditional weapon progression with a skill-based, kill-driven spear system, encouraging fast-paced combat, player movement mastery, and fair progression.
Instead of crafting stronger weapons, players must earn their power through combat. Every player starts with a basic wooden spear, and only valid spear kills count toward progression. As players secure kills, their spear becomes stronger, gains enchantments automatically, and eventually upgrades into higher tiers — all without manual crafting or repairs.
VkSpearSmp introduces a kill-based upgrade system where each confirmed spear kill increases the spear’s effectiveness. Every kill adds sharpness to the spear (up to a configurable limit), and once the required number of kills is reached, the spear upgrades to the next tier:
Wooden → Stone → Iron → Diamond → Netherite

Higher tiers unlock additional mechanics, such as Lunge enchantments, making combat more aggressive and rewarding for skilled players.
Combat in VkSpearSmp is designed to feel powerful and momentum-based. Spear damage scales with player speed, meaning faster movement results in higher damage. This rewards smart positioning, sprinting, and timing rather than simple click-spamming.
Server owners can optionally enable high-impact or one-shot potential, making spear combat deadly when executed correctly, while still remaining configurable and balanced.

Each player has their own spear progression and statistics. Kills are only counted if the final blow was delivered using a spear, ensuring fair and accurate tracking. Admins can view, reset, or modify player progress using built-in commands.
