Hardcore SMP | Time Economy | PvP Mechanics

sTimeSteal turns time into your most vital resource. In this hardcore gamemode, your remaining playtime is your life. Every second you play ticks down your clock. If it hits 00:00:00, you are eliminated into Spectator Mode.

Survival depends on aggression and economy. Kill others to steal their time, trade minutes with friends using vouchers, or use the mystical Revive Beacon to resurrect fallen allies.

✨ Features

1. ⏳ The Life Timer

Every second in-game is a second lost. Your time is always visible above your hotbar.

  • Green: Safe (> 6 Hours)
  • Gold: Caution (≤ 6 Hours)
  • Red: Critical (≤ 1 Hour)

2. 💀 PvP Time Stealing

Killing a player isn't just for loot—it's for life.

  • Kill Bonus: Steal 1 Hour (Configurable) from your victim.
  • Death Penalty: Dying to mobs or suicide costs you 10 Minutes.

3. 💎 Economy & Trading

Time is money. Literally.

  • /paytime: Send minutes directly to other players.
  • /withdraw: Convert your time into physical Time Vouchers (Paper items) to trade or store safely.

4. 🕯️ The Revive Beacon

Permadeath doesn't have to be permanent.

  • Craft a Revive Beacon (Custom Recipe).
  • Place the beacon and sacrifice a Banned Player's Head inside the GUI.
  • The ritual consumes the beacon and head to resurrect the player from Spectator Mode!

📜 Commands & Permissions

Command Permission Description
/withdraw <minutes> None Convert your time into a physical Voucher item.
/paytime <player> <minutes> None Send time directly to another player.
/stimesteal givevoucher ... stimesteal.admin (Admin) Give a voucher to a player without cost.

⚙️ Configuration

The plugin is highly configurable! Edit config.yml to change values.

# Time given to new players (Default: 6 hours)
starting-time: 360

# Time stolen on PvP kill (Default: 1 hour)
kill-steal-time: 60

# Time lost on PvE death (Default: 10 mins)
death-loss-time: 10

🛠️ Installation

  1. Download the .jar file.
  2. Place it in your server's plugins folder.
  3. Restart your server.
  4. The clock starts ticking immediately!
