Stasis Rod

Stasis Rod is a Paper plugin that adds a craftable Unstable Stasis Rod to Minecraft. Players can link the rod to an ender pearl, then cast and reel the fishing rod to pull themselves to the linked pearl.

The rod is unstable, so it breaks after use to keep it balanced for survival, SMP, and PvP servers.

How To Use

1. Craft the Unstable Stasis Rod
2. Put an Ender Pearl in your offhand
3. Hold the rod and Sneak + Right Click to link the pearl
4. Cast the rod
5. Reel it back to pull yourself toward the linked pearl
6. The rod breaks after being used

Commands

/stasisrod give <player>

Gives a player an Unstable Stasis Rod.

/stasisrod reload

Reloads the plugin config.

Permissions

stasisrod.use

Allows players to use Stasis Rods.

Default: true

stasisrod.admin

Allows access to the Stasis Rod admin commands, including giving rods and reloading the config.

Installation

1. Download the plugin jar.
2. Put it into your server’s plugins folder.
3. Restart your server.
4. Edit the config if needed.
5. Players can now craft and use Stasis Rods.

Notes

This plugin adds a custom stasis-style movement item inspired by pearl stasis mechanics. It is meant to be useful but not overpowered, since the rod is unstable and can break after use.
