📖About SmpUtilsPlus

SMPUtilsPlus

SMPUtils is a lightweight quality-of-life plugin built for SMP servers. It gives admins powerful control over balance and gameplay while keeping everything simple and configurable. Every feature can be toggled on or off and adjusted to fit your server’s needs.

Main Command

/smpUtils

This is the central command used to manage all features.
It is fully tab-completable and organized by utility type.

Item Limiter

Allows you to set a maximum amount of specific materials that players can hold.

If a player exceeds the configured limit:

  • They receive a warning message
  • Any excess items are automatically dropped on the ground

The system can be enabled or disabled at any time, and you can choose when player inventories are checked for exceeding limits.

Enchantment Limiter

Allows you to set maximum enchantment levels for items.

If an item exceeds the allowed enchantment level:

  • The player is notified
  • The enchantment is reduced to the configured maximum

This helps prevent overpowered gear and keeps PvP balanced.

Invisible Kills

When enabled, if a player is killed by an invisible player, the killer’s name in the death message will be obfuscated.

Instant Restock

When enabled:

  • Villagers never run out of trades
  • Villager prices do not increase from demand

Perfect for trading-based SMP servers.

Item Explosion Protection

When enabled:

  • Dropped items will not be destroyed by explosions

Reduces frustration during TNT or crystal-based PvP.

Explosion Damage Cap

Allows you to set a maximum amount of damage that explosions can deal.
This feature is disabled by default and can be configured to any damage cap you choose.

Mace Damage Cap

Allows you to set a maximum amount of damage that maces can deal.
This feature is also disabled by default and can be configured to your preferred limit.
