📖About SmpRules

SmpRules

A server-side rule pack for a hardcore-style SMP. Everything is configurable, and most of it can be changed live from the console — no restarts needed.

Features

Items

  • One Mace per server. Only a single Mace can ever be crafted. The holder shows up on everyone's locator bar, so the only way to get it is to hunt them down.
  • End Crystals & Respawn Anchors banned — can't be crafted, placed, or used. Their explosions also deal no damage to players.
  • Command-driven item limits. Ban or limit any item live:
    • /smprules ban <item> — no crafting, placing, or use
    • /smprules limit <item> <count> — only N craftable server-wide
    • /smprules allow <item> — remove a limit
    • /smprules list | info | reset | reload

Dimensions

  • Open and close the Nether and End on your schedule:
    • /dimension open <nether|end> / /dimension close <nether|end> / /dimension status
  • Both start closed. A closed dimension can't be portaled into, and closing one sends anyone inside back to the overworld.

Combat

  • No combat logging — disconnecting in combat kills you (and drops your gear).
  • No elytra in combat — you can't glide while combat-tagged.
  • No elytra-macing — Mace hits set up by gliding are blocked.

World

  • 3000-block world border (Nether auto-scaled to match coordinates).
  • Locator bar disabled for everyone except the current Mace holder.
