Bucket can hold a configurable amount of water:
Water can be collected and placed in the world, cauldrons and waterlogged blocks.
Permission: openbucket.use.waterbucket
Bucket can hold a configurable amount of lava:
Lava can be collected and placed in the world and cauldrons.
Permission: openbucket.use.lavabucket
The use as lava bucket and water bucket can be individually disabled in the config all together or by giving players the permissions above.
Currently you can't use the lava bucket as fuel in furnaces, the bucket to collect water after smelting a wet sponge, milk cows or capture fish and axolotls.
