👻 About

MysticHorror adds random scary events to your Minecraft server — sounds, visual effects, camera shake. Your players will jump at unexpected screamers, whispers, demon laughs, and other eerie phenomena.

No resource packs required — everything works with vanilla Minecraft sounds.

✨ Features

🎭 Local Events (single player)
Events happen individually for each player. Chance, interval, and cooldown are fully configurable.

WHISPER	Mysterious whisper
SCREAMER	Loud scream + camera shake
DEMON	Demon laugh + blindness (2 sec)
DOOR_CREAK	Creaking door sound
HEARTBEAT	Fast heartbeat (5 beats)
STATIC	Radio static + slowness (2 sec)
CHILD_LAUGH	Child's laugh
JUMPSCARE	Sudden scream + nausea (3 sec) + camera shake

🌍 Global Events (all players)
Events affect everyone online at the same time.

BANSHEE_SCREAM	Banshee scream
SHADOW_PASS	Passing shadow sound

🚀 Installation
Download MysticHorror

Place it into your server's plugins folder (Paper server required)

Restart the server

Adjust config.yml to your preferences

Grant

mystichorror.admin

permission to trusted players or leave it for OPs only

🎯 Permissions
Permission Description
mystichorror.admin Access to all commands (default: operators)
💡 Tips
For Halloween events — temporarily increase chance to 50–70% for maximum scares

For regular gameplay — keep 5–15% (won't get annoying)

The /mh list command can be given to trusted players via LuckPerms
