Overview
ModChecker scans players' mod folders upon joining and enforces a configurable whitelist. Players with unapproved mods are automatically kicked. The system also supports player exclusions, Bedrock auto-detection, and real-time configuration reloads.
Commands
Aliases: mc, modcheck, mcheck
- / check - View a player's installed mods
- / reload - Reload the configuration file
- / whitelist <on|off> - Enable or disable the whitelist
- / auto-exclude-bedrock <on|off> - Toggle automatic exclusion for Bedrock players
- / mod add - Add a mod to the whitelist
- / mod remove - Remove a mod from the whitelist
- / mod list - List all whitelisted mods
- / exclusion add - Exempt a player from mod checks
- / exclusion remove - Remove a player from the exclusion list
- / exclusion list - View all excluded players
Permissions
modchecker.admin - Full access to all commands (Default: OP)
Requirements
- Server: Paper 1.21.x
- Client: ModSender
- Java: 21+
Installation
- Place the JAR in your server's mods folder
- Start the server to generate the configuration file
- Configure your whitelist and settings
- Reload with / reload to apply changes
ModChecker keeps your server secure and your mods under control.
