Limbo

Have you ever encountered a troll on your server who won’t stop harassing players, spamming offensive words, or griefing others to the point where banning them feels like the only option? With Limbo, you can place any troll in a virtual "limbo" where they can no longer harm your server or its players.

When a player is in limbo:

• They cannot see or interact with other players.
• Their chat messages are invisible to others.
• You can configure commands to be disabled for players in limbo.
• They are unable to place or destroy blocks anywhere on the server.

Limbo is the perfect way to let a disruptive player stay on your server without breaking any of its rules, ensuring they cannot ruin the experience for others.

Commands

/limbo [player] (reason) - Banish a player to limbo with a reason.
/limbo help - See the help page.
/unlimbo [player] - Remove a player from limbo.
/limbolist - Get a list of players that are placed in limbo.
/limbo reload - Reload the plugin.

/templimbo [player] [time] (reason) - Banish a player temporary to limbo with a reason.

Time format:
minutes, minute, min, m
hours, hour, h
days, day, d
weeks, week, w
months, month, mon

Examples:
/templimbo baktus_79 2h For bad behavior!
/templimbo baktus_79 2weeks For bad behavior!
/templimbo baktus_79 15min For bad behavior!

Permissions

limbo.limbo - Be able to place a player in limbo.
limbo.templimbo - Be able to place a player temporary in limbo.
limbo.unlimbo - Be able to remove a player from limbo.
limbo.limbolist - Be able to see who is placed in limbo.
limbo.chatvisible - To see what the player is saying in limbo.
limbo.bypass - Player with this can not be placed in limbo.
limbo.notify - Be notified when a troll is placed in limbo.

limbo.admin - This will give you all permissions in Limbo.
limbo.moderator - This will give you everything except /limbo reload.

How to install

1. Download the plugin.
2. Stop the server.
3. Drag the file to the servers plugin folder.
4. Start the server.

Create Discord webhook and setup Limbo for Discord interaction

1. Open channel settings.
2. Click "Create Webhook" and then "New Webhook.
3. Give it an avatar and a name.
4. Click "Copy Webhook URL" and paste it into the config file.
