📖About Heatmap

Plugin is currently being reprogrammed from the ground up. versions 2.0.0+ will support 1.21.4+ and Java 21 ONLY. WorldGuard dependency has been removed, and custom API will be implemented. Thank you :P

Description

The Heatmap plugin offers a dynamic way to visualize player movements across your Minecraft server. By tracking and visualizing player locations, server owners can gain insights into how players interact with the world, which areas are most popular, and where to focus their development efforts. Whether you're managing a small community server or a large-scale multiplayer environment, Heatmap provides valuable data in an easily interpretable visual format.

Requirements

Supported Versions
1.18.2-1.20.4

Java 17 Required
Worldgaurd Required

Soft Depends

  • Squaremap
  • Bluemap (Until cheese update, large data sets may cause FPS loss)

at this time I will not be supporting Dynmap and Pl3xmap due to poor API

Why Use Heatmap?

  • Player Engagement: Understand where players spend their time to enhance those areas or improve underutilized spaces.
  • Server Development: Make informed decisions on where to build new attractions or optimize existing ones.
  • Event Planning: Analyze movement patterns to plan events in popular locations or revitalize neglected areas.

Commands and Permissions

Below are the commands available with the Heatmap plugin, along with the required permissions for each command:

  • /heatmap create <regionID>

    • Description: Initializes a heatmap for the specified region.
    • Permissions: heatmap.create, heatmap.admin, or be an Operator.
  • /heatmap close <regionID>

    • Description: Processes and closes the heatmap for the specified region, making it available for viewing.
    • Permissions: heatmap.close, heatmap.admin, or be an Operator.
  • /heatmap view <regionID> [<UUID>]

    • Description: Views the heatmap for the specified region. If a UUID is provided, view the individual player trail.
    • Permissions: heatmap.view, heatmap.admin, or be an Operator.
  • /heatmap remove <regionID>

    • Description: Removes the heatmap for the specified region.
    • Permissions: heatmap.remove, heatmap.admin, or be an Operator.
  • /heatmap render <regionID>

    • Description: Renders heatmaps on supported Maps
    • Permissions: heatmap.render, heatmap.admin, or be an Operator.

Use these commands to generate, view, and manage heatmaps on your server, providing you with a unique perspective on player activity.
