A lightweight, immersive, and highly performant death chest alternative for modern Minecraft servers.
GravesSystem replaces messy item drops and outdated death chests with a clean, immersive grave system designed for performance and compatibility.
When a player dies, their exact inventory layout is safely captured and a custom player head using their real Minecraft skin is placed at the death location.
Above the grave, a modern real-time hologram appears, displaying the victim’s name, the exact cause of death (PvP, fall, lava, etc.), and a live countdown timer until the grave expires — creating a clear, intuitive, and immersive death experience.
All logic is designed with performance in mind, ensuring minimal impact on the main server thread and zero world file clutter.

Immersive Player Graves
Graves are represented by the dead player’s actual head block, rendered using their real
Minecraft skin instead of clunky chests.
Exact Inventory Preservation
The plugin captures and restores the player’s inventory slot-for-slot, ensuring items return
to the exact positions they were in before death.
Instant Restoration
Right-clicking the grave instantly restores items directly into the player’s inventory with
no menus or delays.
Secure Ownership
Only the grave owner can interact with or loot their grave. Other players cannot break,
steal, or interfere.
Modern Holograms
Lightweight TextDisplay entities show the player name, death reason, and a live ticking
expiration timer above the grave.
Automatic Cleanup
Graves despawn cleanly when looted or when the configurable timer expires. If the player’s
inventory is full, remaining items are gently dropped on the ground.
Highly Optimized
Designed for modern servers with asynchronous handling where possible, ensuring excellent
performance even on busy servers.
No Heavy Dependencies
Does not rely on ProtocolLib or other heavy packet-manipulation plugins.
World Blacklisting
Easily disable the plugin in specific worlds via configuration.
