GemOfPowers Remake

A Minecraft plugin that adds gems with unique powers to the game. Each gem can be used and has various effects.

Features

• 5 types of gems with unique powers
• Cooldown system for each gem
• Custom texture support via CustomModelData
• Admin commands to manage gems
• Compatibility with Minecraft 1.21+ versions

Gem Types

Water :

• Applies Mining Fatigue I and Weakness II to enemies
• Cooldown : 10s
• Dropped from : Elder Guardian, 4% chance

Fire :

• Launches a fireball and give Fire Resistance
• Cooldown : 15s
• Dropped from : Blaze, 2% chance

Void :

• Make enemies levitate
• Cooldown : 10s
• Dropped from : enderman, 2% chance

Chaos :

• Give Strengh I to the player, and Poison I to nearby enemies
• Cooldown : 14s
• Dropped from : Vindicator, 2% chance

Depression :

• Regeneration III to the player, and Poison IV to enemies
• Cooldown : 13s
• Dropped from : Sheep (don't ask why), with 0.3% chance

Commands

Basic Commands

• /gem info - Shows information about the gems
• /gem give <player> <type> - Gives a gem to a player
• /gem giveall <player> - Gives all gems to a player

CustomModelData Commands (OP only)

• /gem setcustommodeldata <type> <id> - Sets a custom model for a gem type
• /gem givewithcustommodeldata <player> <type> <id> - Gives a gem with a specific custom model

How to Use Gems

1. Obtain a gem by killing the corresponding mobs or using admin commands
2. Right-click while holding the gem to activate its power
3. Each gem has a cooldown period before it can be used again

Texture Customization (Resource Pack)

To add custom textures to the gems:

1. Create a resource pack
2. Add your custom models with unique model numbers
3. Use the command /gem setcustommodeldata <type> <id> to link a model to a gem
4. All new gems of that type will automatically use this model

Permissions

• gem.use - Allows using gems (default: true)
• gem.admin - Access to all admin commands (default: op)
• gem.setmodel - Allows modifying gem models (default: op)
• gem.givecustom - Allows giving gems with custom models (default: op)

Configuration

The configuration file is automatically generated at plugins/GemOfPowersRemake/config.yml. You can modify:

• Effect durations
• Effect radii
• Cooldown times
• Custom models
