DonutMSG

DonutMSG is a modern, Paper-ready private messaging plugin that lets players communicate seamlessly with clean commands and polished, customizable feedback. The entire experience is driven by YAML: messages, color schemes, module selection, and tab suggestions are all fully configurable and reloadable in-game, so changes take effect instantly without restarts. Advanced color support covers both hex and legacy codes across chat, actionbar, title, and subtitle modules, ensuring polished presentation on any server theme.

Messaging is intuitive and respectful. Players can send private messages with /msg, reply quickly with /r, and maintain full control over their inbox through /msgtoggle and player-specific blocking via /msgblock and /msgunblock. All preferences and block lists are stored in SQLite, ensuring data persists across restarts and scales effortlessly with your player base. Self-messaging and self-blocking are prevented automatically, and clear feedback guides players when recipients are offline, have messages disabled, or have blocked them.

Permissions are straightforward: players use messaging commands with donutmsg.use, manage their block lists with donutmsg.block, and admins can reload all configurations centrally with /msgreload using donutmsg.admin. Tab completion is context-aware, suggesting for /msg and /reply to streamline the experience.

Built for Paper 1.21+, DonutMSG uses efficient SQLite storage for thread safety and consistent behavior under load. License validation ensures authorized use, and integrated bStats metrics provide insight into plugin performance. There are no hardcoded strings or hidden fallbacks—just fast messaging, clean feedback, and a lightweight setup that gives you full control over player communication.
