CustomMinecartSpeed

CustomMinecartSpeed is a straightforward Paper 1.21.4 plugin that allows players to set the maximum speed of their minecarts using a command. The plugin also automatically adjusts minecart speed in certain situations to improve stability.

Features

• Players can use /cartspeed <speed> to set the maximum speed of the minecart they are riding (range: 0.1 to 10.0, recommended not to exceed 1.0).
• The plugin automatically reduces the minecart speed to 0.4 when going up slopes, around curves, or when there are obstacles (solid blocks) within 3 blocks ahead or behind, to help prevent derailment or bouncing.
• Only affects minecarts ridden by players who have set a speed. Other entities and players are not affected.
• Changes take effect immediately without requiring a server restart.

Usage

1. Enter a minecart as a player.
2. Use /cartspeed <speed> (for example, /cartspeed 0.6) to set your desired speed.
3. The plugin will automatically adjust the speed as needed for stability based on the track and surroundings.
