Reinforced Armor V1 and V2 for every vanilla set, with Boosters and Blessings that add special effects and new upgrades
⚠️ Required Dependency (IMPORTANT)
This mod WILL NOT work without ZanderCore and Curios Api.
You must install:
What is Zander’s Reinforced Armors?
Zander’s Reinforced Armors expands every vanilla armor set with two new tiers: V1 and V2.
If you like the original Minecraft style but want deeper progression, stronger gear and more build options without leaving the vanilla theme, this mod is made for you.
This mod uses the Reinforced Recipe Book and custom tables provided by ZanderCore to manage progression and crafting.
For each vanilla armor (Leather, Chainmail, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Netherite) you get:
Copper armor will be added in a future update as its own reinforced path.
On top of that, the mod adds:
This is not a random stat bump mod: it’s a full armor progression system built to stay close to vanilla but feel much more rewarding over time.
Core Progression: V1, V2, Blessings and Boosters
V1 – Reinforced but Simple
Every V1 set is like a “reinforced vanilla” version:
If you just want safer armor without changing the game too much, V1 alone already feels good.
V2 – Identity, Playstyle and Blessings
Every V2 set is where identity kicks in:
You can play the whole game just swapping between V2 sets depending on what kind of player you are.
Boosters – One Artifact, Full Power
Boosters are special artifacts you equip (one at a time):
You decide if you want a safe, flexible setup using mismatched combos,
or full commitment to a single path with V2 + matching booster for maximum power.
Totems of Preservation – Keep Your Gear Alive
Totems go into an artifact/Curios slot and interact with your armor’s wear:
Totem of Preservation V1:
Totem of Preservation V2:
If you like long worlds and hate throwing away your favorite gear, the Totems are designed exactly for you.
Armor Sets Overview
Below is a simple overview of what each set is meant to do.
Details like exact effects and numbers are discovered best in-game while you test your own builds.
Leather – Survival & Mobility (V1 & V2)
Leather V1
A tougher version of vanilla leather for early survival. No special effects, just safer armor for your first days and nights before you touch the higher tiers.
Leather V2
A full survival set focused on mobility and staying alive in rough starts. Made for scouts and explorers who prefer speed, awareness and distance instead of raw power. Its Blessing rewards players that keep moving and playing smart.
Chainmail – Stealth & Tricks (V1 & V2)
Chainmail V1
Reinforced chainmail for basic stealth and light combat. Still simple and effect-free, but already more reliable than vanilla chain gear.
Chainmail V2
A rogue-style set aimed at thieves, tricksters and sneaky mages. The V2 Blessing supports stealth, repositioning and playing around darkness and shadows. Perfect if you like to disappear, hit, and vanish again.
Iron – Farming & Consistent Progress (V1 & V2)
Iron V1
A solid mid-game upgrade. Good for routine combat, farming and general progression without any extra complexity.
Iron V2
Built for players who grind: farming mobs, ores and XP. Its Blessing improves health, resource gain and consistency, turning Iron V2 into the “worker” set for long sessions of pure progress.
Gold – Speed, Tempo & Utility (V1 & V2)
Gold V1
A lighter reinforced gold set that keeps you fast and mobile, but still fragile compared to the higher tiers. Think of it as preparation for something much faster and more technical.
Gold V2
A high-tempo set made for players who like moving all the time, rotating, and cleaning fights quickly. Its Blessing focuses on haste, regeneration, speed and clever utility like effect cleansing and Piglin neutrality. Great for players who control the pace of the run.
Diamond – Damage & Leadership (V1 & V2)
Diamond V1
A sturdier diamond set for harder battles. No fancy bonuses yet, but it prepares you for a more aggressive playstyle.
Diamond V2
This is the “captain” set: made for players who lead the fight and like to hit hard. Its Blessing empowers your damage, your kill potential and your sweeping control over groups of enemies. If you like being the one that finishes the fight, Diamond V2 is your armor.
Netherite – King-Tier Tank (V1 & V2)
Netherite V1
Late-game reinforced netherite built purely for survival. Heavy, tough, and meant to carry you through dangerous zones while you prepare for the true king build.
Netherite V2
The final corrupted royal set. A full tank V2 designed for players who want to stand between danger and everyone else. Its Blessing focuses on resistance, fire and lava immunity, void safety, thorns, and even making Endermen ignore you. When fully supported by its booster, this is where you stop being “a player with armor” and start being the wall.
Boosters – Playstyle Cores
Each booster has its own identity when used alone, and reaches full power with its matching V2 set:
You can use them with any armor, but combining V2 + matching booster unlocks the strongest version of each blessing.
Totems, Blessings and Cross-Synergies
