WellNet
WellNet is a client-side Minecraft mod / that monitors your session health and adapts client settings to keep the game smooth and responsive in heavily modded environments.
📖About WellNet
WellNet is a small helper mod for players who want smoother gameplay on heavy modpacks without digging into complex settings. It focuses on two things: keeping your connection stable and keeping your view distance at a comfortable level so the game feels responsive.
What does it do for you?
Watches how stable your connection is over time and checks if everything is fine or if your game might be struggling.
Gently adjusts how far you can see in the world, trying to keep the balance between a nice view and a stable experience.
Works quietly in the background when you join a world and turns itself off when you leave, without asking you to press extra buttons or learn new systems.
Why might you want it?
If you play large modpacks, you may notice random stutters or short freezes even when your PC is good; WellNet aims to reduce those moments by keeping things in a “safe zone.”
If your internet sometimes behaves strangely, the mod watches how your connection feels and tries not to make the game heavier than it needs to be.
You install it once and forget about it: there are no menus you must open and no commands you must remember for it to be useful.
Important notes
The mod does not include cheats and does not give unfair advantages in multiplayer; it only tries to keep your experience smooth and comfortable.
It does not secretly send your data anywhere outside the game world you are connected to; its purpose is to help you feel fewer hitches, not to track you.
WellNet is designed as a “plug and play” addition: if you remove it, your worlds stay usable; if you keep it, it simply keeps watching over your session in the background
