TVCraft: Legend of Tenna

It's TV Time in YOUR Minecraft world!

Coming straight from your house: this mod adds a Tenna companion. Costing only 5 levels, you can summon Tenna into your world. He will fiercely protect you with his life.

How to Use This Mod

• Type "It's TV Time!" into the chat to summon Tenna. It will cost you 5 XP levels!
• Type "Now's your chance to be a [Big Shot]!" in chat to summon Spamton. It will cost you 5 XP levels!
• Stay in place so they can imprint on you! Should you run away, you can tame Tenna with redstone dust and Spamton with diamonds, emeralds, or gold ingots.
• Use a stick to command them to stay or follow. Use bamboo to command him to wander.

Feature Presentation

Tenna

• Tenna can be pet with an empty hand, resulting in a texture change

• Tenna bows upon killing monsters or players

• Saying "I love TV" = 10% chance of Tenna giving you a disc. (3 available)

• He dances every few minutes

• His expressions change depending on his status

        Black Screen: HP Low (<55)
        Signal Error: HP Critically low (<20) OR he's dead
        Grin: Aggressive/Targeting
        Flower: Flattered
  

Spamton

• Spamton can be pet with an empty hand, resulting in a texture change
• Spamton has 2 attacks, a melee slap and a ranged pipis
• Pipis have a 4% chance to spawn a baby Spamton
• He glitches every few minutes
• Feeding him an emerald once tamed = 50% chance to drop a disc
• He will sway if you hold gold, emeralds, or diamonds in front of him.

His expressions change depending on his status

 Red: Aggressive
 Cross Eyed: Flattered
 Monochrome Dealmakers: HP Low (<55)
 Looking Straight Ahead: Gawking at Tenna

Spamton can spawn with the following "moods.":

• Hates Tenna: Enters the world with an aura of black hearts. Will insult any Tenna within a 10 block radius, owned by you or otherwise. To bribe him to shut up, feed him a diamond. (32% chance)
• Likes Tenna: Enters the world with an aura of red hearts. Will gawk at and follow any Tenna within a 10 block radius, unless you command him to follow or he becomes aggressive. (31% chance)
• Loves Tenna: Enters the world with a massive aura of red hearts. Will ride on the head of any tamed Tenna, whether it's yours or not. They become "soul-bound" at this point and will no longer obey you. But they will still protect you! (5% chance)
• Indifferent: Nothing special happens (32% chance)

Notes

 1. Has yet to be tested in multiplayer. There may be bugs. Please let me know if you notice any.

 2. This is just a hobby. I made the mod as a joke; it's nothing serious. You can make suggestions if you want, though.

3. Geckolib is required

4. There's a glitch where sit/wander commands stop registering upon blocking with a shield. If you used a shield in the off hand before this happened, you can shoot an arrow or put the shield into your main hand, block once, then put it back in your inventory.

5. For 1.20.1 only, they can be crafted.
