TLOTD focuses on allowing the player to explore new worlds, strive for weapons, tools and armor far stronger than the base game. In addition it also adds a variety of decorative items and refrences to other media. A key part of the mod is its interoperability and compatibility with other mods, such as The Aether, The Twilight Forest, Create, Alex's Caves, Farmer's Delight, Tough As Nails or Better Combat just to name a few.

About

This exploration centric mod focuses on an expanded progression system with new tool tiers (heliorite, endurium, palladium, jurassoline, cinnabar, nebular, mithril and astral), a new dimension called the prehistoric lands, a technic expansion featuring elevators, circuitry, computers, radio, television, keycards and teleporters. A new forge crafting station called the mithril anvil. A bit of magic is also included with the witching table.
