Unlike a simple daily reward or lottery mod, this mod is built around a two-step decision process:
This means every card is not just a reward, but a small resource decision.
Players need to judge whether the revealed reward is worth the additional redemption cost, or whether it is better to stop and take the loss.
Each day, players receive a set of 12 Tidal Observation Cards.
Before a card is revealed, its reward is unknown.
Players must first pay the observation cost to flip the card and reveal its content.
After observation, the player can choose:
Observation cost and redemption cost are separated, allowing modpack creators to design different resource sinks and reward strategies.
The mod includes two types of vouchers:
Vouchers are divided into five tiers.
When paying a cost, valid vouchers will be consumed first.
If no valid voucher is available, the original currency item will be consumed instead.
