Adds "canon" features from Minecraft Dungeons and Minecraft Legends. Focuses on vanilla parity, exploration, and making the game feel like a cohesive sequel.
Subtly Dungeons is an attempt to create an unofficial "sequel" to Minecraft by strictly adhering to Mojang's own design principles. With each update, features from Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Legends, and abandoned vanilla concepts are added to help create a cohesive feeling within the Minecraft Universe.
The goal isn't just to provide a "Vanilla+" experience; it's what we call "Vanilla Parity". Every block, mob, and mechanic is designed to feel like it has always belonged in the game, enhancing the adventure for all of those bored Minecraft veterans out there, while remaining accessible for players who prefer a classic experience (and even remaining friendly to complete beginners!). Certain features may be undesired, and many can be disabled via gamerules or through the native game options.
The Tent: Sleep through the night to skip darkness or rain without resetting your spawn point! It's perfect for long expeditions where you don't want to lose your home bed spawn
Campfire Changes: Campfires are now crafted unlit. You can light them with a flint and steel, or simply by rubbing sticks together!
Atmosphere: Experience the world with the sounds of soft breezes, howling winds, and reactive screen shake for loud events like lightning or roars
Soundtrack: Explore to the tune of new tracks by Peter Hont, Crispin Hands, and other Minecraft music composers
Strategic Fishing: Fishing is no longer random. Different fish now inhabit specific biomes (Salmon in rivers, Cod in cold oceans, Tropical Fish in warm waters, etc.), which rewards you for traveling!
New Materials: Build with Polished Dripstone, Snow Bricks, Stone Pillars, Iron Grates, and more!
Flora: Dense Reeds now generate in swamps to add a bit of atmosphere to the wetlands
Deadlier Foes: Encounter Zombie Hoard Leaders and face Raids that scale in difficulty, with arsonistic Pillagers and their ferocious captain!
New Cuisine: Channel your inner chef and cook up a bowl of Pottage, munch on some Calamari, or have some Apple Pie
