📖About Spring's Eco Mod

Title Text reading Spring's Eco Mod

Spring's Eco Mod aims to add more vanilla feeling biomes, geodes, dungeons, and progression changes(however it does break free from the vanilla+ ties the deeper you dive). With 9+* Brand new biomes most of which having unique trees with new wood sets your plate should hopefully be filled.

*some biomes are incomeplete but still accessable with single biome world generation

                                 **New Biomes**

The Temperate Forest
an overhead view of a calm forest with bright green grass and yellow and red trees
The temperate forest is a calm biome with not much going on, the biome is loosely based on parts of europe. In this biome you will find the new Tilia trees, if you wait around long enough limes might even grow on the leaves for you to shear off.

The Rainforest
an overhead view of a chaotic messy dense forest with heavy foliage and tall trees

The rainforest is a very messy biome filled with untamed foliage and aggressive wildlife. In this biome you will find 2 new trees, the Eucalyptus Tree and Tangarana Tree. The Tangarana tree houses very aggressive fire ants that will go after other plants to improve the survivability of their Tangarana Tree nest.

The Grotto Grove

a dense oak forest with vines

The Grotto Grove is one of my personal favorites, its a very dense and calm forest with lots of foliage.

The Dense Birch Forest
a dense birch forest

The Dense Birch Forest is a simple biome, it takes the idea of the old growth birch forest and packs in a little more birch.

The Redwood Forest
Taiga like forest with large thick trees that tower over everything
The Redwood Forest is a forest made up of a towering new tree, The Redwood Tree. You may find some abandoned huts carved out of them.

The Fungal Fields
swamp like biome with a variety of glowing mushrooms
The Fungal Fields is a swamp like biome filled with colorful glowing mushrooms with unique abilities. This biome brings two new trees, The Cotton Tree and the Ancient Shrooms.

The Fungal Caverns
a dark cave with large mushrooms and fungal like vines

The Fungal Caverns are very lifeless fungus dominated caves. The walls are made of shroomstone and the floor is covered in minecelium. The vines can be grown and smelted into a very powerful food source.

The Mahogany Rainforest
a less dense rainforest with branchy trees
The Mahogany Rainforest is a much calmer rainforest with more sparse trees. This biome brings one new tree, the Mahogany Tree.

The End Woodlands
a wasteland of a forest with round trees and purple moss growing over the endstone

The End Woodlands is rather empty, just like the rest of the end. This biome brings one new tree, The Entropic Tree.

                              **New Structures**

This mod has some cool new structures and dungeons to go with its assortment of biomes.

The Catacombs
a monument like building buried in the rainforest foliage

The Catacombs are built up of sprawling networks of tunnels and rooms filled with ghouls and spiders, venture deep enough in and you will find a new mini-boss.

The Radio Tower
a stone brick building with a giant antenna on top
The Radio Tower is like a bunker. Under the main building you will find tunnels that may also be spider infested. If you're lucky you might just stumble across more spiders.

The Fungite Dungeon
a library with walls made of a light blue stone brick
The Fungite Dungeon is buried deep below the Fungal Fields. It's filled with gemstones and other treasures of the deceased that roam its halls.

                               **New Minerals**

I wont include geodes here as I already fear this is getting rather long and there is still plenty more to go, so heres all of the minerals that you can forge items from.

Crimsonium
Bright reddish pink tools are on the wall in item frames.
Crimsonium is scattered through out the Nether. It can be forged into tools that have unique health siphoning abilities or be used to upgrade apples just the same as gold. You can also craft the Crimsonium Box which is a new inventory management tool with 9 extra slots +1 specific slot for tools.

(note the sword doesnt do that, this mod works with BetterCombat)

Covellite
there are bluish purple tools on the wall and an armor set on display made of the same material
Covellite is a step between iron and diamond. It can be forged into a shield, tools, or armor but it can also be used to upgrade beetroots. It is found near lava in the basalt deltas.

Endersteel
purple crystals and ingots are on the wall in item frames, a model holds a sword and large round shield made of the same stuff.
Endersteel is a crystal like formation found all over the end. It can be used to upgrade Covellite equipment* into Endersteel equipment. Endersteel is all about movement and each endersteel item has a unique ability.
*Only the sword, shield, and boots can be upgraded.

Titanium
tattered scraps and titanium items are on the wall in item frames, there is a model with a shield and hammer in the center.
Titanium is a rare strong metal, you wont find it anywhere in the ground as it had been harvested long before your time. You can find it scattered across Radio Towers in the overworld. Tattered Metal Scraps need to have the rust blasted off of them before you can use them for crafting. You can use Titanium to forge the Striker,

Spoiler

The Bone Dagger, and The Vain Shield

                               **New Dimension**

Vain

limestone islands covered in moss float above a bottomless pool of water. large spires are scattered across the islands

Vain is an alien world and is loosely inspired by half-life and Lethal Company. Vain has its own structures and micro-biomes though it is mostly barren. If you wish to visit vain you wont be able to just build a portal. The portals can be found rarely in Radio Towers or if enabled The Gemstone Stronghold. If you want to build your own portal you will need to find the resources for it in Vain.

                              **Fun & Games**

There are 2 gamerules you can enable to change the way the game plays, being howlerHour and luckyBlockMode. howlerHour will make very agressive Howlers spawn at night all over the overworld. luckyBlockMode will make killing mobs drop lucky blocks(the more health the higher chance for more blocks), I am not responsible for any destruction the blocks may bring unless its really funny.

                             **Warnings and such**

this mod may be buggy, I am no professional. I will try to fix all the bugs that do pop up. Vain can be laggy for servers to generate. If the game isnt loading the world on creation properly go to the gamerule tab and change generateGemstoneStronghold to false.
