RUNIC: Enhancements

Descripton:

Find vanilla's Enchantment system to be boring and too OP? This Mod solves that in an RPG like way completely redefining what upgrading gear is like in Minecraft!

What is This?

Runic's goal is to upgrade Minecraft's progression system one feature at a time. As of now, Runic's first addition is the overhaul of the enchanting system. Enhancements are no longer stored on books but on runes. These runes obtained from mobs and structures, encouraging exploration. Some overpowered enchants have been removed, such as Mending (don't worry, there will be an alternative!), and others, such as protection enchants, have been reworked (including multiple protection enhancements on one item). This mod also adds new enhancements inspired by vanilla to add a much larger variety. Runes can hold one enhancement per rune; however, they can stack up to 64 and all have their own texture, making storage easier.
