PikaPvP — Client-Side Target HUD (Fabric + Forge)

PikaPvP adds a clean, lightweight Target HUD for PvP. It displays key combat info for the player you’re aiming at — no server plugin required.

Client-side only. It’s an overlay that organizes information your client can already access.
No gameplay changes. It doesn’t modify mechanics like damage, reach, speed, or packets.


Features

  • Target + Health HUD (clear, readable, color-coded)

  • Optional details:

    • Absorption
    • Weapon info (damage, cooldown, durability)
    • Distance / Ping / Line of Sight
    • Movement speed multiplier
    • Armor stats (armor, toughness, knockback resistance)
    • Offhand detection (Totem / Shield) + Blocking
    • Armor pieces + durability
    • Status effects (amplifier + timer, with max-limit to stay clean)

Smart Targeting (stable in fights)

  • Prioritizes your crosshair target
  • Supports aim-tolerance for fast movement
  • Sticky targeting reduces flicker
  • Stale timer prevents outdated HUD info lingering

Customization

Settings Page

  • Toggle sections on/off (minimal → full tactical)
  • Compact mode
  • HUD position (anchors + offsets + screen clamping)
  • Visual styling (opacity, padding, spacing)
  • Behavior tuning (range, tolerance, sticky/stale ticks)

  • O — Open HUD Settings
  • H — Toggle HUD

Also adds a “PikaPvP HUD” button to the Pause Menu and Options Menu.
ModMenu supported (optional, Fabric).


Requirements

Minecraft: 1.21.x (>= 1.21.8, < 1.22)
Java: 21+

Fabric

  • Fabric Loader >= 0.15.0
  • Fabric API required
  • ModMenu optional

Forge

  • Forge (JavaFML) 58+
  • No extra dependencies beyond Forge

Server Notes

Some servers may restrict what clients can see (e.g., other players’ health). In those cases, available HUD details depend on server rules — the mod remains useful for things like distance/ping/LOS/offhand/armor/effects where permitted.
