Marston's Rope Ladders

A Minecraft mod that adds craftable rope ladders that extend downward for easy vertical traversal.

Features

• Chain Extension: Click on an existing rope ladder to automatically extend the chain to the first available space below
• Cascade Breaking: Break any rope in a chain and watch them fall one by one
• Climbable: Works just like vanilla ladders
• Flammable: Burns realistically, one block at a time
• Water Sensitive: Rope pops off when touched by water

Crafting

A string above and below a ladder makes 1 Rope Ladder.

Mechanics

Placement

• Click a solid block to place a rope ladder below it
• Click an existing rope ladder to extend the chain downward
• Cannot place through water, lava, or other non-air blocks

Breaking

• Instant break (no tool required)
• Breaking any rope triggers a cascade break of all ropes below
