Lucinity Combat Enhancement improves Minecraft’s melee combat by giving you control over attack range and making near-miss swings connect while in combat mode.
This only applies while Combat Mode is enabled.
Turn it off and the game behaves exactly like normal.
Features
Adjustable Attack Range
Change the player’s base melee reach through config.
This was the original feature of LCE and remains the foundation of the mod.
If another mod or effect changes your reach, LCE automatically scales with it.
Near-Miss Hit Correction
When a swing passes close to an enemy, LCE can do a hit correction so the hit connects half a block by default. Hit correction scales with attack range. Only active while combat mode is toggled
Optional Swing Particles
Enable a subtle particle trail to visualize your attack path.
This helps you understand how your swing moves and why a hit landed.
Fully optional and configurable.
Fully Configurable
Every part of LCE can be tuned:
Player reach distance adjustable.
Hit correction behavior adjustable.
Visual effects toggleable.
Debugging is toggleable.
Config file is named lce-common.
The mod may work up to Minecraft 1.20.6, but this has not been tested.
