Listvennica's Mod
Some blocks inspired by Siberian architecture
📖About Listvennica's Mod

Listvennica's Mod
Description
Listvennica's Mod (from Russian Лиственница, "larch") is just an amateur experimental mod. It has no other purpose but to train modcraft and to do things with Fabric. However, there's some stuff you may find useful and pretty good-looking.
Decoration, inspired by Siberian architecture:
- Simple log walls;
- Insulated log walls;
- Window shutters;
- White bricks, which are crafted from lime-sand mixture;
- Colored brick patterns;
- Decorative wooden and brick motifs;
- Double-glazed wooden windows;
- Plank doorways.
Other additions:
- Log and stem slabs;
- Birch now drops birchbark which can be used instead of paper in some recipes;
- Spruce now drops cones, which can be picked apart for pine nuts. Both items can be stored in crates and bags (as in Farmer's Delight);
- Grass block, mycelium, and podzol are now craftable: just add moss carpet, brown mushroom, or spruce sapling on top of dirt!
- Mushrooms now can be turned into dye.
Also, there are specials:
- Macuahuitl, the legendary wooden sword of Mesoamericans;
- Flameberries from Kyrandia that occur in taiga;
- St. John's wort that can be found in meadows!

Technical Details
MC Versions Support
For now the mod is fully tested for 1.20.1. However, it is available for versions up to 1.20.6 (according to Modrinth, API is compatible). If we get round to it, we'll test the mod for all available versions. Most likely, MC versions under 1.20.1 and higher than 1.20.6 will not be supported ever.
API Reference we use:
- Fabric: 0.92.5+1.20.1
- Yarn Mappings: 1.20.1+build.10
- Fabric Wiki: old, new
Versioning
We do our best to respect SemVer. However, the mod is considered experimental, so only PATCH number shall be incremented. Also, the mod's always beta.
Source Code
All files in src folder are generated either via listvennica_generator.py or via gradlew runDatagen.
Consider editing listvennica_generator.py first if you want to make some changes in src.
The logo looks suspiciously familiar ...
Yep, I used some Kyrandia assets. I love Kyrandia. Really.
