This mod makes golden food inedible and lets you brew potions from them which provide the effects they used to give when eaten.
Features
Golden apples can now be used to brew Potions of Absorption, which provide the Absorption effect when used.
Enchanted golden apples can now be used to brew Elixirs of Life, a unique potion which provides all the effects the enchanted golden apple used to give when eaten.
The new potions have splash and lingering variants, and tipped arrows can be crafted from the lingering variant, just like other tipped arrows.
Potion of Absorption has a long and strong variant, while Elixir of Life does not.
Golden apples, enchanted golden apples, and golden carrots are now inedible. This feature can be disabled in the mod configuration for each food item separately.
Creative mode tabs are modified based on the current mod settings.
