Flight Potion
A Minecraft mod, that adds some features related to survival flight.
📖About Flight Potion
This is a Beta build, there may be some bugs.
If you experience one, please let us know in the Issues Tracker on GitHub so we can fix it.
If you want to use this mod in a Mod Pack, or elsewhere, go ahead and use it wherever you like. But please give credits if you plan to release it.
Flight Potion Beta 0.4.1
A Minecraft mod, that adds some features related to flight.
Features:
Flight Potion
- Consuming this potion will grant the player flight for a short amount of time.
- Available in all potion types and tipped arrows.
- Is created by brewing an Awkward Potion with Magic Powder.
Potion of Levitation
- Consuming this potion will add the levitation effect to the player.
- Available in all potion types and tipped arrows.
- Is created by brewing a Flight Potion with a Fermented Spider Eye.
Wings
- Is obtained by upgrading Elytra with Wings Upgrade Smithing Template.
- Equipped will grant the player flight until the durability runs out.
- Can be enchanted.
- They are equipped in the chest armor slot, like Elytra.
- Broken Wings can be repaired with Magic Ingots.
Strange Dust Ore
- Can be found in the lower levels of the world.
- They drop one Strange Dust, fortune will affect the drop rates.
- There is also a Deepslate variant.
Strange Dust
- Is obtained by mining Strange Dust Ore with a Diamond Pickaxe or higher.
- Is used for crafting Magic Powder.
Block of Magic Alloy
- Is crafted by combining 9 Magic Ingots.
- Is used to duplicate Wings Upgrade Smithing Template.
Magic Powder
- Is crafted by combining 6 Strange Dust, 1 Ghast Tear, 1 Redstone and 1 Glowstone Dust
- Is used for smelting into Magic Nuggets.
- Is used for brewing the Flight Potion.
Magic Nuggets
- Is created by smelting Magic Powder.
- Is used for crafting Magic Ingots.
Magic Ingots
- Is crafted by combining 9 Magic Nuggets.
- Is used for repairing Wings.
Wings Upgrade
- Is obtained by looting a Temple Chest.
- Is used for upgrading Elytra to Wings.
- Can be duplicated with a Block of Magic Alloy and 8 Diamonds.
Temple
- This structure is generated in the Cherry Grove biome.
- Spawns a Loot Chest.
Loot
- Magic Nuggets can be found in Ancient Cities.
- Potions of Flight can be found in End Cities.
- Wings Upgrade Smithing Template have a 50% chance to be found in a Temple.
Advancements
- A whole new Advancement Tree can be unlocked.
Custom Advancement Trigger FlightTrigger
- The FlightTrigger "fltpot:flight" can be triggered by total ticks flown "duration" and/or distance flown in a single flight "distance".
- Only works for Survival flight.
