Experience Control
This mod introduces a set of configurable gamerules that give you fine-grained control over experience (XP)
mechanics and enchanting behavior.
- All rules are of type boolean values:
trueorfalse - By default, everything behaves exactly like vanilla
- Each rule can be enabled or disabled independently
Experience Drop Rules
These rules control whether experience is dropped in specific gameplay scenarios:
fishing_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops from fishing.
trading_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops when trading with villagers.
smelting_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops from smelting items and from breaking furnaces.
breeding_drop_experience
Toggles experience gained from breeding animals.
ore_block_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops from ore blocks.
sculk_block_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops from sculk-related blocks.
spawner_block_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops when breaking mob spawners.
hostile_mobs_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops from all hostile mobs (except Ender Dragon).
animal_mobs_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops from all animal mobs.
ender_dragon_drop_experience
Toggles experience drops from Ender Dragon.
Enchanting Rules
full_cost_enchantment
When enabled, the full enchantment cost is deducted from the player,
instead of the vanilla behaviour where only 1, 2, or 3 levels are taken.
