DAGMod: A Fantasy RPG Experience in Minecraft

v1.5.3-beta for Minecraft 1.21 (Fabric)

DAGMod transforms Minecraft into a comprehensive fantasy RPG. Choose a unique race and class, master powerful abilities, level up through a dynamic quest system, and conquer procedurally generated dungeons filled with custom bosses.

✨ Core Features

  • 🎭 Choose Your Path: Combine one of 4 distinct races (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Orc) with one of 3 powerful classes (Warrior, Mage, Rogue). Unlock one of 9 unique synergies based on your choice, granting special passive abilities.

  • 📈 Level Up & Grow Stronger: Progress from level 1 to 50 with a classic XP system. Gain experience from combat, mining, quests, and more to earn stat points, unlock new quest tiers, and become a legend.

  • 📜 Embark on Epic Quests: Discover over 64 quests through a multi-layered system. Start with a tutorial from Innkeeper Garrick in a village tavern, then accept story quests from Quest Blocks and quick jobs from Job Boards.

  • ⚔️ Master Unique Abilities: Unleash devastating power with over 15 unique class abilities. Whether you're a Warrior spinning through hordes of enemies, a Mage warping time, or a Rogue teleporting behind foes, combat is dynamic and engaging.

  • 🏰 Explore a Living World: The world is alive with new structures. Discover procedurally generated Bone Dungeons deep underground, face the formidable Skeleton King and his minions, and find shelter in new Village Inns, Taverns, and Shops.

  • 🎒 Collect Epic Loot: Craft and discover over 50 custom items, including 6 themed armor sets, 9 unique weapons, powerful consumables, and magical wands.

🚀 Getting Started

  1. Installation: Install Minecraft 1.21, Fabric Loader, and the Fabric API. Then, drop the DAGMod JAR file into your mods folder.

  2. Find the Hall of Champions: When you first spawn, you'll have a Hall Locator item. Use it to find the Hall of Champions structure where you can choose your Race and Class at two distinct altars.

  3. Begin the Tutorial: Your adventure truly begins when you find Innkeeper Garrick in a Village Inn & Tavern. These new structures spawn in temperate biomes (plains, forests, etc.). Complete his three simple tasks to earn your Quest Book and unlock the full questing system.
