Cyberware: Visible Modifications - Overview

Cyborgs are awesome. I mean, who doesn't love the idea of replacing half your insides with cool tech? I know I do.

You might not know it's possible to become a powerful cyborg in Minecraft. The mod Cyberware: Reforged is a very welcome port of the original Cyberware mod to the 1.20.1 version, making it possible for this delightfully gruesome mod to finally make its way to modern Minecraft. But... it has some room for improvement.

This mod aims to fix the mod compatibility and visual glitches of Cyberware: Reforged while giving the cyborg player a full visual overhaul. Now, you can look the part of a cyborg with all your favorite mods fixed, including Epic Fight, GeckoLib, EMF, and more.

Demo - Full Cyborg

Here's a quick clip of the mod in action. This is how your appearance changes with all modifications included in this mod installed.

Cyberware: Visible Modifications Demo

Feature List

The mod includes visible parts when the following cybernetics are installed:

  • Cardiovascular Pump (Heart)

  • Cyber Arms

  • Cyber Legs

  • Cyber Eye

They'll swap out dynamically, and only the parts you have installed will show. If you install Synthetic Skin, the visible modifications will be disabled.

Another feature is what I like to call 'Gloriously Gruesome Dynamic Dismemberment.' If you've gotten rid of your arms and legs, it'll show. Because, for some reason... you can get rid of your arms and legs with the Cyberware mod.

And did I say it has lights? Yeah... it has lights.

Compatability

Since it is the point, it should be compatible with almost anything.

The only possible exception are mods that change or hide your skin, since this mod works by swapping out your player skin. Otherwise, there shouldn't be any issues.

Modpacks?

If you're publishing the pack, it needs to be on either Modrinth or Curseforge.

A huge thanks to love_vivi for porting the Cyberware mod to 1.20.1, and to Flaxbeard for making the original.

Please note that I am not affiliated with either. This mod is an unofficial project.
