Repel Items
Repel items prevent wild Pokémon encounters for a limited time. Perfect for when you need to travel through grass areas without battles!
🔸 Repel (Normal)
Prevents wild encounters for 6 minutes.

🔸 Super Repel
Prevents wild encounters for 12 minutes.

🔸 Max Repel
Prevents wild encounters for 20 minutes.

Lure Items
Lure items increase the spawn rates of rarer Pokémon and improve your chances of finding shiny Pokémon!
🔸 Lure (Normal)
Increases rare Pokémon spawns and improves shiny chance. Duration: 6 minutes.

🔸 Super Lure
Increases rare Pokémon spawns more significantly and improves shiny chance. Duration: 12 minutes.

🔸 Max Lure
Maximum effectiveness for rare Pokémon spawns and improved shiny chance. Duration: 20 minutes.

Lure Effect on Rarity
When Lure is active, the following multipliers are applied to bucket weights:
- Uncommon: ×1.6 (60% more common)
- Rare: ×1.4 (40% more common)
- Ultra-Rare: ×1.2 (20% more common)
This means you'll encounter rarer Pokémon more frequently when using Lure items!
🎮 How It Works
Encounter System
- Walking in Grass: When you walk through short grass, tall grass, ferns, or large ferns, the mod checks for an encounter
- Encounter Check: Every tick, there's a 8% chance (configurable) to trigger an encounter
- Biome & Time: Pokémon spawns depend on the biome you're in and whether it's day or night
- Cooldown System: After an encounter, there's a 4-second cooldown (80 ticks) before the next possible encounter
- Level Calculation: Wild Pokémon levels are based on your party's average level ±2 levels
- Battle Initiation: A wild Pokémon spawns and a battle is automatically started
Requirements for Encounters
- ✅ Player must be on the ground
- ✅ Player must NOT be in spectator mode
- ✅ Player must NOT be in a vehicle
- ✅ Player must NOT have Repel effect active
- ✅ Player must have at least one usable Pokémon in their party
- ✅ Player must NOT be in an active battle
Repel Effect
When you use a Repel item:
- Wild Pokémon encounters are prevented completely
- Duration depends on the Repel type used
- You can walk through grass safely without battles
- Perfect for traveling or when you're low on health
Lure Effect
When you use a Lure item:
- Shinies become 4× more common (1/512 → 1/128)
- Rare Pokémon spawn more frequently
- Using multiple Lures extends the duration

Reloads the mod configuration from the config file without needing to restart the game.
