Dragon with a different name, armors, fights... for the new versions of Minecraft !
Choup's Drakvyrn Mod brings the Drakvyrn : a smaller yet undeniably cooler dragon like entity.
Dependencies :
To run the mod you'll need to download Geckolib and also Curios API in the correct version, i also recommend to download JEI !
With Epic Fight you should also download this datapack :

Where to start ?
Drakvyrns :
Are you more like an adventurer ? Then try to find the Drakvyrn Hand structure : a rare ancient monument that look like a tower and that houses an Ancient Egg. The Ancient Egg can be break to recover it or hatch by right clicking on it and then spawn a Drakvyrn. The spawned Drakvyrn need to be fight to drop a Drakvyrn Egg. To spawn a nether version of the Drakvyrns you'll need to bring the Ancient Egg to the Nether and then hatch it !
When you'll right click on a Tamed version of a Drakvyrn with the Ancient Ring, they will cycle between four modes : Staying, Following, Agressive, Rideable !
After he died, the Drakvyrn will drop some scales to make armor, some bones for tools and Ignition Breath Ball to make a cool Staff and some Ignition Potion !
They exist in 8 colors with 2 of them (Warped, Crimson) for the Nether.
Drakvyrns drop "Drakvyrn Scales", you can make some armors with them, and some "Drakvyrn Bones" to make some Tools.
The Drakvyrn Hand :
The Draklets :
The Draklets are the new entities from the v2.2.0 version of the mod. They spawn in Forests biomes (Birch forest, Dark forest, Flower forest, Old growth birch forest, Forest) in a small structure called the Draklet Nest. They will always spawn in a group of three. They are quite dangerous because they inflict you poison and are pretty fast !
They can be tamed with Raw meat on a Bone and the cooked verison and have 3 states like Drakvyrns (Following, Agressive Staying). To cycle between the states use The Ancient Ring.
When killed they'll drop some Draklet Scute to make an armor that will give you a permanent Resistance I potion effect when fully equipped. The Draklet Tooth can also be dropped to make stronger poison potion or when combine with the rare Draklet Horn you can make a Draklet Dagger!
The "Poisonous" enchantment book was also made to fit with that dagger and increases the strenght of the poison !
The Draves :
The Drave is the new entity from the v2.3.0 version of the mod ! They are quite massive and have a small pair of wings, but due to their underground habitat (in caves), evolution has rendered their wings flightless.
They exist in 5 color variations (amethyst, topaz, emerald, sapphire and ruby) and when killed they will drop you some Crystal powder (used to make Crystallised Iron Tools *) and if you are lucky an Intact Geode. Intact Geode can be also obtained by feed the Drake with either a Raw Meat on a Bone or its cooked version. And this item can be smashed onto the ground to discover his hidden loot !
*Crystallised Iron Tools are a new version of Iron tools set they are more efficient and more durable than the regular Iron Tools !
The Drozens:
The Drozen is a friendly Drake that will spawn only in snow Plains and Groves biomes in their nest (choups_drakvyrn_mod:drozen_nest) . They are tameable with Frozen Meat on a Bone and can be rided. They're pretty fast, can't jump and can walk on water! If you hit them, they'll hit you back! Be careful with them! When killed they will drop an Eternal Frost that is used to make The Eternal Frosted Blade and they also drop a Drozen Horn that is used to make a Drozen Spear that can be upgrade into a Frozed Drozen Spear !
The Draekhalde :
The Draekhalde (=Dune Drake) is a serpent-like entity that you can find in the desert, in its den (choups_drakvyrn_mod:draekhalde_den). It cannot be tamed and is aggressive toward players. It also has a special AOE attack, the sandy 'cloud' attack, which deals 12 damage to the player and inflicts blindness.
Upon death, it'll drop some cool stuff like its scales, toxin etc.. to make other items such as The Scimitar of the Mirage or the Draekhalde's Desert Boots !

The mod is currently in BETA it means that there is some bugs with animations, AI, tags...

In the future, I'd like to improve the mod and add more entities, but the main body of the mod is done !
