📖About ChatReply

ChatReply (Client Mod)

ChatReply

Our Recommendation

  • We always recommend using the latest available version of ChatReply, as it may include bug fixes, improvements, and better overall stability.
  • We recommend using GUI size 3 with ChatReply for the best experience.

Thank you for using ChatReply!

Transparency & Security

ChatReply is designed with simplicity and user safety in mind.

  • ✅ Client-side only — The mod runs entirely on your Minecraft client.
  • ❌ No data collection — ChatReply does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
  • ❌ No account access — It does not access your Minecraft account, tokens, or session information.
  • ❌ No external connections — The mod does not connect to external servers or send data anywhere.
  • ✅ No hidden features — All functionality is clearly described on this page.

Chat messages are sent normally through Minecraft, exactly as if the player typed them manually.

Beta Status

ChatReply is currently released as a beta version. While functional, it may contain bugs or incomplete features. Updates and improvements are planned.

ChatReply is a client-side Minecraft mod that automatically sends a chat response when a specific message is detected in chat.

This mod is intended for simple automation such as AFK responses or repeated messages. It runs entirely on the client and does not require any server-side plugins or modifications.

ChatReply is compatible with Paper, Spigot, and other Bukkit-based servers, provided the server allows the use of chat automation or macros.

Features

  • Automatically responds to a configurable chat message
  • Customizable trigger message
  • Includes message recall
  • Set a response delay in seconds
  • Enable or disable at any time
  • Dedicated keybind for quick toggling
  • Lightweight and client-side only
  • Send a message after every 10s, 20s

Commands

/chatreply on - Enables automatic chat responding.
/chatreply off - Disables automatic chat responding.
/chatreply setmessage - Sets the message that the mod will listen for in chat.
/chatreply setresponse - Sets the message that will be sent when the trigger message is detected.
/chatreply senddelay — Sends a specified message at regular intervals (e.g., every 10s, 20s, etc.).
/chatreply stopsenddelay — Stops any active scheduled messages.

Keybinds

  • C — Open the message recall menu
  • H — Toggle responding on or off
  • I — Open the configuration menu

All keybinds can be changed at any time in the Minecraft controls menu.

Client Compatibility

ChatReply is designed to work on all standard Minecraft clients that support client-side mods.

The mod has been tested on:

  • Feather Client
  • Lunar Client

Compatibility with all third-party clients cannot be guaranteed.

Important Warning – Read Before Use

This mod performs automated chat actions.
Many servers may classify ChatReply as a macro or automated client modification.

Using this mod on servers that prohibit macros or automation may result in punishment, including mutes, kicks, or permanent bans.

  4. Configure the mod using /chatreply

Configuration Menu
