ChatGPT To MC

ChatGPT To MC Chat is a Fabric mod that connects Minecraft chat to OpenAI's language models. It allows players to interact with an AI directly from the in-game chat interface.

The mod listens for the specific trigger phrase "hey chatgpt" followed by a prompt. When detected, it sends the text to OpenAI and displays the response in the chat window.

Features include:
In-game configuration, using ModMenu, which includes configs such as cooldown, an allowlist, and instructions on how the model should act.
Model selection, you can switch between models such as gpt-4o and gpt-4-turbo in the menu
Baritone integration, if baritone is installed, you can enable "baritone mode" in which ChatGPT will be able to use baritone to perform functions.

Before downloading, please note the following:
API Key Required: You must provide your own OpenAI API key. This mod does not provide free access to OpenAI services.

ModMenu Dependency: You must have ModMenu installed to access the configuration screen and enter your API key.

ASCII Limitation: To prevent chat crashes and display issues, the mod automatically strips emojis, newlines, and non-ASCII characters from AI responses.

Network: The mod requires an active internet connection to communicate with OpenAI's servers.
