This Datapack adds a new type of story to the game - a story about a mysterious purple tree made out of stars and flesh.

Game Mechanics

Strange Book

• A strange book with some of its pages missing.
• To get it, you must sleep in a purple bed.
• It shows you part of the instructions to follow the story.

• Obtained by dropping purple dye + clay ball in water
• When right clicked on a purple candle...

Starspawn Tree Sapling

• Drop a wither skull onto this sapling this spawn the starspawn tree.

Starspawn Tree

• A mysterious purple tree.
• Contains the muncher block
• When its logs are broken, they drop starspawn scrap.

Starspawn Reactor

• Place an observer inside the muncher to get this block
• It can munch various items to create starspawn themed items
• Drop item(s) on the reactor, right-click with starspawn scrap to make it munch those items

Starspawn Horn

• Drop a goat horn + oak log on the reactor
• When used, makes nearby enemies weaker

Starspawn Apple

• Drop an apple + oak log on the reactor
• Provides the relaxation effect when eaten (5 minutes)
• This effect negates Slowness, Nausea and Strength
• This effect also applies jump boost, weakness and speed

Wooded Potion

• Drop a glass bottle + blaze powder + oak log on the reactor
• Provides the wooded effect when eaten (5 minutes)
• This effect heals you after taking projectile damage
• This effect also makes you take extra fire damage

Starspawn Axe

• Drop an axe on the reactor
• New enchantment - True Pain
• Applies poison and strength to yourself when you attack an enemy

Starspawn Bonsai

• Drop an oak sapling + purple dye + flower pot on the reactor
• A block that can be placed
• Heals players in a 30 block radius around it, depending on the type of ore you gave it.
