A simple and compact mob farm mod
Cagerium Regaded is a mod that adds compact mob farms. There are three tiers of farm (Terrarium, Cage, and Plate) that will each periodically generate drops of the mob contained within it. There is also an item called the Soul Shard that can be used to to store the souls of slain mobs.
Can be crafted using 4 amethist shards and 1 block of either soul sand or soul soil. The resulting soul shard will be empty.
Make sure you have an empty soul shard in your inventory. The shard will capture the soul of the next mob you kill.
Each farm can be used to hold different types of mobs. The Terrarium can only passive mobs, the Cage can only hold hostile mobs, and the Plate can only hold boss mobs.
With the soul shard in your main hand, right click an empty farm of the type that can hold the shard's soul. The shard will be placed in the farm and the mob will be shown inside the farm.
The farm will deposit the drops in any inventory (ex. chest) directly below it. If there is no inventory, no drops will be generated!
Both the loot generation period and the drops amount can be adjusted in the config. If you have any feedback on how I can make the mod better I would be happy to hear it and hopefully add it in future updates!
Cagerium Recaged is a reimagining of the mod Cagerium. I really liked the concept of the mod. However, in my opinion it felt incomplete and needlessly complicated. Therefore, I made my own version of it in an effort to make it more straight forward and polished.
