With this datapack, any sword can be used as a shield, but will only block half the damage.

Features:

• When a player takes a sword into his hand, the blocks_attacks and use_cooldown components are added to it.
  • The use_cooldown component is needed for the general delay group for all swords separately from shields;
• The sword blocks half of the damage;
• After disabling blocking with an axe, the player cannot use the sword as a shield or as a weapon at all;
• If the player has a shield in either hand, blocking with sword is disabled.
