Big Fish Mod
A Minecraft mod that aims to enrich the aquatic experience through expanded fishing, fish progression, and cooking mechanics.
About This Mod
This project introduces a variety of fish species with basic AI behaviors, growth stages, and resource drops. It also adds cooking, basic breeding, and an in-game guide to help you along the way.
We’re still refining mechanics and balance, so consider this a work-in-progress rather than a finished expansion.
Features at a Glance
• Fish & Behaviors – A selection of fish with different appearances, spawning biomes, and simple schooling or predator behaviors.
• Growth & Size – Fish can level up and grow visually larger over time.
• Fishing & Processing – Catch fish with buckets or rods, and use the Fish Stand to obtain meat and materials.
• Cooking & Effects – Prepare several fish-based dishes; some provide temporary status effects.
• In-Game Guide – A Patchouli book is included to explain the basics and reduce guesswork.
