BetterEnd features a new recipe system using pedestals for infusions. The included recipes allow you to create almost any vanilla enchantment at level 1, plus a few mod items that are otherwise unobtainable.
This datapack provides compatibility with other mods, including new recipes for obtaining enchanted books from other mods, along with the two vanilla curses and End Veil.
The datapack only loads the infusion recipes from the enchanted books of the mods you have installed, so there are no broken recipes.
I have tried to make all the recipes balanced, taking into account:
- The ease of obtaining the enchantment at the enchanting table.
- If the enchantment has multiple levels, the recipe is cheaper (to obtain level 1), making it reasonable to try to reach the maximum level.
- If the book can only be obtained in certain ways (dungeons, loot, bosses, etc.), the recipe is tailored to items that require at least one visit to those areas.
Reminders
You can use REI to view the recipes, because it's not possible with JEI.
You can use Sinytra Connector to use BetterEnd in Forge and thus use this datapack.
