📖About Beta Tool & Armour Repair

Modloader not required but I had to select an API.

This is a simple jarmod that backports the Crafting Table repair functionality from 1.0 to Beta 1.7.3

All Tools And Armour Supported, simple place two damaged tools of the same type & material into the crafting table to repair the tool.

Repairing Tool

How to install

Install Java 8, most mods for older versions use Java 8. So it's always a good idea to have it.

Recommended using MultiMC, PrismLauncher, Betacraft

MultiMC And PrismLauncher

  1. Download prism or multimc (if you dont already have it installed)
  2. Create an instance of Alpha 1.2.6
  3. Edit instance
  4. Go to the version section
  5. Click on "Add to Minecraft.jar"
  6. Select the zip file you downloaded from releases
  7. Have fun!

Betacraft 2.0

  1. Download Betacraft 2.0 (if you dont already have it installed)
  2. Create an instance of Alpha 1.2.6
  3. Edit instance
  4. Go to the version section
  5. Click on "Add to Minecraft.jar"
  6. Select the zip file you downloaded from releases
  7. Have fun!

For Betacraft v1.0

it's more complex as you will need to jarmod the version yourself

  1. after downloading coords.zip for prefered version, search and open your hidden %appdata% folder
  2. open the .betacraft folder
  3. open the versions folder
  4. highlight and right click on the version.jar you are using (ex: a1.1.2_01.jar)
  5. after right click, you can choose Open with (Insert prefered archive viewer here)
  6. with the jar open, also open the downloaded coords.zip
  7. move the single .class file from coords.zip to the opened version.jar.
  8. Press OK , done! You successfully replaced a game file with my modded game file!
  9. Relaunch Betacraft v1.0 and play.
