🔍 Basic Chest Search

Basic Chest Search is a lightweight, client-side utility mod for Minecraft (Fabric) that adds a powerful search bar to container interfaces such as chests, shulker boxes, and bundles. Save time and find your items instantly!

✨ Search Features

• Item Names: Search by display names.
• Tag Support: Use the # prefix to search for item tags (e.g., #logs).
• Enchantments: Find items based on their enchantments or levels.
• Recursive Search: Automatically search inside Bundles and Nested Containers (e.g., shulker boxes inside a chest).

⌨️ Controls

• Toggle Search Bar: Press T (default key) to show or hide the search bar.
• Quick Clear: Double-click inside the search bar to empty the input field immediately.

⚙️ Configuration (Optional)

If you have Cloth Config and Mod Menu installed, you can customize the following settings:

• Search Mode: Choose how the search results are displayed:
  • SORT: Moves matches to the front and hides non-matching items.
  • DARKEN: Dims non-matching items to highlight your results.
  • DISABLED: Completely disables the search bar functionality.
• Keep Search: Retain your search text even after closing and reopening a container.
• Auto-Focus: Automatically focus the search bar the moment you open a container.
• Detach bar: Decouple the search bar from the inventory window for a custom layout.
