Aspen : Lost Shores

What is Aspen?

Aspen is a content mod that focuses on botanical, mycological, and generally more naturally reverent content. It receives updates the same way a live service game does, with larger updates consisting of a theme. In between larger updates, smaller ones referred to as "ruminations" fill the space. Aspen is its own beast. It is constantly blossoming into its own standalone experience where few mods are needed to complement it.

What was the latest update?  

The latest update to Aspen was Lost Shores. Lost Shores contains two biomes, the "Old Ocean Beach" and the "Old Ocean". Old Ocean is a location with cool, humid air and salty spray. A rocky shore full of all the long-lost treasures and junk that washes up on these rough sands after storms upset the waves. Ink from old rituals stagnates in the tidepools, while ceramic automatons play. Hidden beneath the waves, Jibs gnash their fangs in anticipation of fresh meat, and the old bindamas harbor a forgotten demon. But this isn't a bleak locale; there are friends to be made and puzzles to solve, the ever mischievous Plangessels sneer and snide, holding a Trubble inside. A bell tower looms, its inverted bell requiring your keen ear to discover the hidden treasure of the condescending guardian above.
