A Minecraft challenge mod inspired by BastiGHG!
Collect items ONLY from structure chests. No mining, no crafting from gathered resources - just pure exploration and strategy!
📖 What is this?
All & Only Chests is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.x that transforms your gameplay into an exciting treasure hunt challenge.
The goal is simple but difficult: You must collect every possible item from 18 different Minecraft structures. The catch? You can only obtain items from the chests found within these structures.
📜 The Rules
- Chest Loot Only: You are not allowed to mine blocks for resources or kill mobs for loot (unless toggled on).
- Structure by Structure: You select one structure (e.g., Shipwreck) and find all its required items before moving to the next.
- Exploration over Gatering: All your gear, food, and blocks must come from the chests you find.

- 🛡️ Box Validation - Chests are validated using structure bounding boxes (prevents cheating)
Trial Chambers (Vaults & Ominous Vaults).
- Updated loot tables for items like the Heavy Core, specialized Potions, and the latest Armor Trims.
- 🛡️ Anti-Cheat Mechanics:
- Structure Box Validation: The mod checks if a chest is physically part of the structure's bounding box. You can't just place a chest and fill it!
- Placed Block Tracking: The mod remembers which blocks you've placed. By default, you can only break and collect blocks that you placed yourself.
- Loot Lock: Once a chest is scanned and its items counted, it can be locked to prevent accidental re-scanning or item swapping.
🏛️ Supported Structures (18)
The mod tracks loot for every major structure in the game, using exact Java Edition percentages:
- Ancient City, Bastion Remnant, Buried Treasure, Desert Pyramid, End City, Igloo, Jungle Pyramid, Mineshaft, Monster Room (Dungeon), Nether Fortress, Ocean Ruin, Pillager Outpost, Ruined Portal, Shipwreck, Stronghold, Trial Chambers, Village, Woodland Mansion.

/structures - Open the main structure selection menu./s items - See your progress for the current structure./s info - Quick summary of your current progress in chat./s finish - Force-complete the current structure./s reset - Reset the current structure's progress./timer <start|pause|reset|status> - Manage the challenge timer.
🛡️ Admin/Challenge Settings (OP Level 2)
The challenge is highly configurable via the /challenge command:
/challenge - View all current rules and status./challenge placedBlocksOnly <on|off> - If ON, you can only break blocks you placed (Prevents mining)./challenge lockLootedChests <on|off> - If ON, chests you've already "used" cannot be opened again./drops <on|off> - Toggle whether normal blocks drop items./mobdrops <on|off> - Toggle whether mobs drop items./save - Trigger an immediate manual save of all data./allandonlychestsreset - Wipe all progress and start from scratch.
⚙️ Technical Details
- Architecture: Rewritten from the ground up for the Fabric 1.21.x API.
- Data Safety: Uses a robust JSON-based saving system. Data is saved automatically every 5 minutes and whenever the server stops.
- Compatibility: Compatible with all Minecraft versions from 1.21.0 to 1.21.4.
