BUG REPORTS: I prioritize bug fixes above all else. If you crash or find a bug, please open a GitHub issue with your crash report and log files. Without these details, it’s nearly impossible to diagnose the cause.

DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP: I’m currently planning a major rewrite of the entity AI system to improve modularity and TPS performance. Because of this, don’t expect new features for a bit as I balance this with real life.

📖 About the Mod

Aegis Ops is a lightweight, performance-focused companion mod designed for post-apocalyptic and high-tech survival settings. It allows you to deploy tactical agents from orbit to fight and survive alongside you.

Whether you're building a desolate colony or staging a final stand, this mod gives you the fireteam you need.

🚀 Drop Pod Deployment: Send in agents with beacon-style deployment and configurable drop behavior.

abc Combat Classes: Soldier, Medic, Engineer, Sniper, Heavy, and more.

🎭 Custom Skins: Skin & gender are fully configurable with randomized rolls. (Per-class skin pools now implemented).

🔫 Weapon Compatibility: Works out-of-the-box with TacZ gun and melee items.

🛡️ Team Integration: Compatible with native Minecraft team mechanics.

⚙️ Lightweight Logic: Tuned to perform as close to vanilla entity (TPS) as possible.

✴️ Special Class Moves: Healing, turret deploys, and other role-specific actions.

🎮 How to Use / Tips
Targeting Mode: Right-click an entity with a Sword to quickly change targeting mode for both agent and turret (Temporary system).

AI Rewrite: The main AI is currently WIP. All special behaviors are implemented except for the Swordsman (which needs extensive animation work). My current focus is getting the AI stable and finished.

⚔️ Squad Mechanics: Enhanced capability for managing agent squads.

☣️ Enemy Agent Factions: Drop pod raids and enemy squads.

🤖 Cyborg Upgrade Trees: Transform agents into elite cyborg units with upgrade paths.

QoL: If you have suggestions for QoL improvements that don’t require too much time, I’m happy to consider adding them.
