How Did We Get Here? — applying every status effect at once — is generally considered the hardest, requiring access to mob drops from rare and dangerous mobs (Wither, Elder Guardian, etc.) and careful timing.

Do advancements give rewards?

Most give a small experience reward. A handful unlock new recipes (e.g. Light a fire unlocks the Campfire recipe). Advancements have no impact on gameplay otherwise — they are an achievement system.

Are advancements the same as achievements?

Java Edition has Advancements, Bedrock Edition has Achievements. They cover roughly the same goals but the systems are separate and do not transfer between editions.
